I got your info from Jill Crockett. I will be coming April 19th. Will you be gone then? Jill said she could store some items for me. I want the toaster, shelve stacker for kitchen, microwave, bookshelf, dvd holder, study lamp, fire truck, little toys, high chair, play pen, kid chairs, extension cords, air mattress, body glove board, stool, standing fan, side table used as the night stand, beach umbrella, coffee table, 2 storage drawers (the ones you used for toys), and the tan long curtains and tan panels (4). So pretty much most of your items!let me know if any of these items are not available. That was a total of $228. I can mail a check. I feel bad having all of these items stored for me until I get there so I'm trying to figure out when you leave so I know how long I will be asking someone to hold these items to see if this works out. thanks,

Hey, I sent you an email about a week ago, did you get it? Anyway, yes everything is available besides the kids toys. We are moving out of TVA on April 14th, but we will be here until the 21st of April. My husband and I were wondering if there is anyway we could just move the stuff straight into your house that you will be renting...if you have access to it, unless its not available until the day you move in. But we thought it might be easier that way for everyone if we just put in straight in there instead of moving it out of our place into either Jill's or our vacation rental for the week. Anyway, let me know if that would be possible or not. Is there anything else you will be needing, I still have more stuff I just haven't listed everything yet??

If you know of an off campus place let me know! I have been on craigslist and the byu off campus housing and have emailed at least a dozen places.

Oh shoot, ya I actually don't have the email anymore. But I pretty much summed it up with the message above, I was just saying all the stuff you asked for was available besides toys. I know the frustration of moving to Hawaii with no place to stay, and trying to do it all online. We have moved here twice now, so I seriously understand. I will ask around, what exactly are you looking for? 1 bedroom, 2? what is your price range? Have you looked in Hauula and Punaluu or just Laie?
ReplyDeleteI have looked in hauula and laie. I know it is expensive to live off campus. I was thinking nothing more then 1200 for rent. One bedroom would be great but i mostly seen studios available online. I hope to get into tva after summer session but know it will most likely be after fall session. Do you want me to send a check for the stuff?
ReplyDeleteYa we actually lived off campus for 7 months, moved off the island, moved back and lived off campus for another almost 8 months...so I definitely know how much rent can be, we paid $1,200 for a one bedroom in Punaluu the first time, and the second time $1,900 for a small two bedroom in Hauula. But I will keep a look out for you. Ya sending a check would probably work just great. Just let me know for sure if you want anything else, because I am going to post the blog to everyone on Monday. You said you wanted all the kitchen stuff, like do you want EVERYTHING I listed under "kitchen"? I just want to know for sure what you want so I don't sell it. I have a friend the manages some houses here in Laie, I will ask her if they have anything available and get back to you. In fact I think this might be one of them.

Okay, I hadn't heard back from you so I did post the blog this morning. I saved everything you already asked for previously, but just a few of the kitchen things sold already. So the things that I sold already is, bosh, cupcake container, some of the pyrex and the wok. But everything else is still there. I am so sorry!!!
